Talk to the people who make this
There is no support ticket system and no chatbot. Messages go to a small editorial team, and a person replies.
Privacy and data requests
Access, deletion, or a question about our Privacy Policy.
[email protected]Urgent medical concern?
We are not an emergency service and cannot provide urgent advice. Contact your local emergency number or an urgent care provider.
Pitching Health Digest
We commission a small number of freelance pieces each quarter, usually from writers with a clinical or research background.
Lead with the question
One paragraph on the question you want to answer and why the current coverage gets it wrong.
Name three primary sources
Reviews, trials or guidelines you would build the piece around. Links, not descriptions.
Tell us who you are
Credentials, relevant clips, and any conflict of interest we should know about.
Expect a slow reply
Pitches are reviewed fortnightly. If you have not heard within three weeks, the answer is no — but you are welcome to try again.
Questions we are asked most
Can you tell me whether I should take a supplement?
No, and we will not try. We do not know your history, medications or blood results, and advice given without those is not advice. We can explain what the evidence says in general, which is what our articles do.
May I republish an article on my site or in a newsletter?
Not in full. You may quote up to 150 words with attribution and a link to the original. For anything longer, write to editorial and we will consider it case by case.
How quickly do you correct mistakes?
Factual errors are corrected within one business day of verification. The correction is noted at the foot of the article with a date, and the change is described rather than silently made.
Do you accept guest posts with links?
No. We do not publish sponsored content, and we do not add links to commercial sites in exchange for payment. Pitches are judged on the question, not the domain rating.
